In Memory of Officer Thor Soderberg

The Board of Directors and membership of the 100 Club of Chicago extend their condolences to the family of:

Officer Soderberg was killed in the line-of-duty on July 7, 2010 in the parking lot of a police facility at 61st Street and Racine Avenue. He was involved in a struggle with a 24 year-old male who disarmed the officer and fatally shot him. The offender fled and was later wounded by Chicago Police during an exchange of gunfire.
Representatives of the 100 Club of Chicago presented an initial check for $15,000 on July 9 to the family of Officer Soderberg.
